Third Cinnamon Kitchen to open at Battersea Power Station

Vivek Singh (chef-patron of the Cinnamon Club et al) brings his latest restaurant to London’s iconic Grade II-listed landmark, Battersea Power Station, in March. Housed in a railway arch, Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner as well as cocktails and light bites influenced by spices and delicacies found along the Delhi Jaipur Pink City Express route.

The restaurant has just released tables for its exclusive 50% off food soft launch preview week from 12-19 March 2018, ahead of its official opening. Be one of the first through the doors with tables available for lunch or dinner.

On the menu: Vivek’s trademark modern Indian flavours like Laal Mass, a fiery Rajasthani lamb curry; chargrilled seabass in a banana leaf parcel and vegan bitter melon with buckwheat and amaranth seeds, alongside a tasting menu of Vivek’s highlights.

Award-winning mixologist, Tony Conigliaro will create an exclusive cocktail list with Indian- inspired, spice-infused craft cocktails. On the drinks list: the Vodka Chase, a twist on the classic Indian drink Chass with lemon juice, yoghurt and citrus notes paired with orange blossom; and the Mezcal Verdita, an Indian take on the classic Mexican sangrita made with fresh pineapple and curry leaves.

Bar bites include: Tak-a-Tak: grilled duck heart with ginger and chilli; Bhel Puri Surat Chaat: puffed rice with chickpea vermicelli and chutney potatoes; and famous Kadhi Kachori: lentil dumplings served with curried yoghurt, ginger and tamarind chutney.

Situated in Circus West Village, the first chapter in the regeneration of Battersea Power Station, Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea will have a private mezzanine dining room and large outdoor terrace with views across the Thames. This is the third restaurant under the Cinnamon Kitchen brand, the original opened in Devonshire Square near Liverpool Street station in 2008, followed by an Oxford outpost which launched in the Westgate shopping centre in October last year.
