Arcade to fire up Battersea Power Station

JKS Restaurants have revealed plans to open a new Arcade Food Hall next year at Battersea Power Station. It follows the delayed launch earlier this year of their original Arcade, in the Centrepoint building by Tottenham Court Road station.

JKS made the announcement via Twitter: “We’re creating a number of exciting new brands showcasing even more global cuisines for the food hall, and we’ll be bringing three standalone restaurants (including @bao_london) and a bar to the wider space. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months.

In addition to the new Bao, the restaurants will include a new Thai venue from chef Luke Farrell, whose Plaza Khao Gaeng has been a crowd-pleaser at Centrepoint.

The Battersea Power Station development has gradually developed into a multi-choice foodie destination in recent years, without so far generating real excitement. The opening of the new extension of the Northern Line almost a year ago has made it far more accessible for diners from across London – and far more attractive to food and drink entrepreneurs.
