Tom Kerridge

Two of the country’s biggest champions of British cuisine are teaming up to host a special one off dinner at the Tramshed in Shoreditch. Tom Kerridge, the chef behind what is perhaps the UK’s most lauded gastropub, The Hand & Flowers, will join restaurateur Mark Hix for a Great British Dinner on 11 February from 7pm.

The event will be held in Mark’s Kitchen Library, a hidden haven above Tramshed, Hix’s vast but atmospheric east London site with “an amazing interior” featuring Damien Hirst’s ‘Cock and Bull’ looming overhead. Guests will enjoy cocktails and canapés while Hix and Kerridge demonstrate and cook dishes which will then be enjoyed as a four course meal with matching wine.

There are just 12 seats and tickets cost £175 per person. For reservations call 020 7749 0478 or email reservations@tramshedshoreditch.co.uk

Kerridge’s Marlow pub, considered by fans to be “THE gastropub” (but by refuseniks to be “overrated”), made it into last year’s Sunday Times Top 100 Food List (powered by Harden’s).
