Table for one? An embarrassing question? Eenmaal (‘one meal’) in Amsterdam – a restaurant that caters exclusively to solo diners – is trying to do away with all that. And at the end of January you can grab a table there for yourself as the Dutch restaurant pops-up in London’s Soho.

Initially the temporary solo dining concept will open for just two days (29-30 January) at an as yet undisclosed location. However, if all goes well, creator Marina Van Goor hopes to open outposts in London and Paris.

The pop-up is being held by Van Goor and glaceau smartwater. There will be one lunchtime setting on Thursday 29 and three on Friday 30, diners get a main meal and their choice of starter or dessert. Tickets for the event will be released on 22 January, follow @glaceau_sw on Twitter to keep an eye out for more details.
