Kudu treks from Queen’s Road, Peckham to King’s Road, Chelsea

Kudu Collective, the South African-flavoured restaurant group based in southeast London, kicks off a reshuffle next week with the transfer of its Smokey Kudu cocktail bar to Chelsea – its first venture into west London.

The 30-cover bar opens on Tuesday 12 April inside the RIXO vintage-inspired fashion store in the King’s Road, having vacated its original premises in Queen’s Road, Peckham.

Meanwhile, the Queen’s Road site is being transformed into a new restaurant, Little Kudu, due to open in June.

Kudu was launched by South African chef Patrick Williams and his partner Amy Corbin in 2018, and has grown to incorporate Curious Kudu, a private dining and events/gallery space in Peckham, and Kudu Grill in nearby Nunhead, based around cooking over a wood fire.
