Hackney restaurateurs prepare for Fulham opening

The team behind Hackney dining concept Nest will launch a new restaurant on Wandsworth Bridge Road.

Luke Wasserman, Toby Neill, and Johnnie Crowe will open Fenn in Fulham on April 13, with a 30-cover dining room following an outdoor only period until May 17.

The restaurant, close to the Thames, will feature an à la carte and set menus overseen by executive head chef Crowe and head chef Joe Laker, formerly of Anglo.

Dishes will include the likes of Lincolnshire Poacher cheese and truffle dumplings, hand-dived Scottish scallop with roast chicken butter, halibut, Cornish crab and sea herbs, and nutmeg custard tart.

Neill said: “It has been a really tough and frustrating few months for us but we are thrilled that our opening is now within touching distance. We can’t wait to start showcasing all that we’ve been working on and bring a taste of what we do at Nest to West London.”

Crowe added: “We’ve worked so hard to create great relationships with farmers and local producers over the past four years and it’s been so tough to see how they’ve struggled this last year. I can’t wait for Fenn to open to be able to showcase what we, and they, do best.”
