Emily Brightman has been appointed head chef at Murano by Angela Hartnett.
Brightman joined the kitchen as a junior sous chef two-and-a-half years ago, having previously spent three years at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, where she was a senior chef de partie.
She also undertook stages in New York: at three-Michelin-starred restaurants Per Se, and Eleven Madison Park; and at the two-Michelin-starred Gabriel Kreuther. Such restaurants as Petrus and Yauatcha are also on her CV.
“It’s an honour to work alongside Angela and such a wonderful, close-knit team and I’m very excited about this role,” said Brightman.
“We are like a family at Murano, and have wonderful relationships with both our suppliers and our guests. I want everyone who dines with us at Murano to have an amazing experience, we will continue to deliver exceptional service and great food to regular and new guests alike.”
