Chef Andrew Sheridan returns to Chester

Highly rated northwest-based chef Andrew Sheridan is to open a new all-day restaurant in Chester – the city where he kicked off his career. Andrew has taken over the former Da Noi restaurant on Bridge Street and will relaunch it next month as Noted.

Best known for his Liverpool flagship Restaurant 8 by Andrew Sheridan, the chef trained under Michael Caines at the ABode Hotel in Chester.

He says: “I spent the first part of my career working in Chester, and I regularly visit the city for dining, so I was always keen to open my own restaurant there.

I am delighted to have found an amazing intimate site in the heart of the city where we can showcase great food, service and warm hospitality.”

Andrew and his business partners Sam and Emma Morgan in the Open Restaurant Group (ORG) currently run six venues. In May they opened the farm-to-fork restaurant Sow on the organic Netherwood Estate in Worcestershire, previously host to restaurants Native and Pensons.
