Loch Lomond flagship closes

Top Scottish chef Martin Wishart’s Loch Lomond outpost is to close permanently, just four months after its relaunch. Cameron House resort hotel announced that its flagship fine-dining restaurant, Tamburrini & Wishart, will close on 31st October.

The restaurant was the latest incarnation of Martin’s long association with Cameron House, where he first opened the restaurant in 2008. A fire 10 years later closed the venue for three years, and it was most recently relaunched in June in collaboration with Paul Tamburrini, the head chef at his former Edinburgh venue The Honours for 10 years.

Edinburgh-born Martin is best known for his Leith venue Restaurant Martin Wishart, which he opened in 1999.
