A tale of two lunches – pics from events yesterday at The Harwood Arms and Parrillan

10th Year Anniversary lunch at The Harwood Arms

Mike Robinson celebrated 10 years at The Harwood yesterday with a press lunch for journos and foodies, showcasing the 7-course anniversary menu specially designed by head chef Sally Abé which is launching at a public event on 20th May.

With matching wines, we only stayed for 5 of the 7 (even we restaurant guide publishers sometimes need to be back at our desks by 4pm) but a great feast reminded us why this was our diner survey’s #1 London Gastropub in the 2019 poll.

There are a limited number of tables left for the event on 20th May available to book, and that the menu will continue to be served for dinner (Tues – Sat) until 1st June. Details are on the Harwood’s website: https://harwoodarms.com/

On the menu
— Bar Snacks and game tea, Soda bread and sour cream butter
— Warm onion and Montgomery cheddar tart with cider and sorrel
— Whipped chicken livers with mead jelly and thyme hobnobs
— Baked cod with laverbread butter and asparagus
— Wood pidgeon faggot with celeriac and pickled walnut
— Muntjac Wellington with wild garlic sprouting broccoli and Jersey Royals
— Elderflower custard slice with buttermilk sorbet and English strawberries
— Lemon curd doughnuts with Earl Grey cream
