London’s latest restaurant and shopping ‘quarter’ opens today. Coal Drops Yard is the superb new addition to King’s Cross, just around the corner from Granary Square. It is a beautiful restoration of Victorian brick sheds built in the 1850s to transfer coal from rail to road.

On Wednesday of this week we dropped in for a press launch of the Hart Bros three new restaurants on the site. The fourth Barrafina, second El Pastor and new wine bar, The Drop, will nigh-on double the size of their London restaurant business.
