Branching out further from its “crowded” but “happy” Borough Market original, Wright Brothers is set to open its fourth London restaurant in June. The seafood specialist, known among our reporters for its “oysters zinging with the taste of the sea”, has snapped up the former site of La Bouchée on South Ken’s Old Brompton Road.
La Bouchée may have been a bit of a “throwback” according to last year’s survey, but the rather cramped Gallic bistro always scored well on food and service. The new Wright Brothers, opening in June, will be designed by Brady Williams Studio and will have its own independent bar.
