The Hawks Nest, a place for pizza, cocktails, jazz and art, arrives in West London

A new pizza spot and cocktail bar has launched in Shepherd’s Bush, West London. The Hawks Nest is housed in a converted railway arch and is replete with a pizzeria, bar, garden and various artworks.

The menu focuses on Italian street food including arancini, calamari, and sourdough pizzas. The menu will change but features the likes of aubergine and kale with sundried tomato pesto, Parma ham and asparagus, and mushroom and balsamic.

The Hawk’s Nest is the first venue from Bird House London, a new duo emerging from the London hospitality scene. Involved is ex-Soho House man Will Fuller, and Frazer Timmerman, who oversaw the food and drinks offering for Incipio Group, the company behind cult street food dining favourite Pergola.

Alongside the food and margaritas (a speciality) will be a weekly programme of live music with jazz nights.

The Hawk’s Nest will also be rotating seasonal artwork throughout the year, with the first exhibition by Annie Rose Fiddian-Green.
