Much-loved Broadstairs ice cream parlour Morelli’s Gelato (est 1937) will open a restaurant in Covent Garden Market next week. The gelateria, still in Morelli hands after five generations, has been selling its wares in Harrods for a decade but this will be its first standalone London site.
The restaurant will launch on Sunday 21 December, serving freshly made gelato, including a range of sundaes in their signature sundaes in Murano glass, alongside Kilimanjaro coffee and prosecco.
