Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa has decided to celebrate the relaunch of its Scottish Steak Club with a collection of ‘unique’ savoury cocktails. The restaurant, which has been given a new look as part of a £2 million investment programme across 16 hotels, will serve up limited edition concoctions like the ‘Whisky Steak’ and the ‘Rosemary Gin Steaktini’.
The Whisky Steak is a short cocktail using Monkey Shoulder blended malt Scotch whisky, served alongside a piece of 21-day aged Scottish sirloin steak for soaking or dipping in the drink (should you wish to). This is complemented by black pepper and homemade rosemary syrup.
