Pizza Restaurants in Manchester
1. Croma Pizza restaurant in Manchester 1-3 Clarence St - M2
2021 Review: The “always reliable” flagship branch of this small Manchester chain in “an airy city-centre location” is “busy at times so you may have to book”. Fans say it’s “how PizzaExpress would be in a perfect world” (well, it is run by two folks who used to work for PE, and the interior was designed by Enzo Apicella, who created over 80 PizzaExpress outlets in his lifetime).
2. Rudy's Pizza restaurant in Manchester 9 Cotton Street, Ancoats - M4
2021 Review: “Taking pizza in the North West up a notch” – this “buzzing” local superstar is “located off a lovely square in trendy Ancoats” and has become a Mancunian foodie legend, thanks to its “simple-but-delicious Neapolitan pizzas”: “definitely the best in town, with the dough made and stretched on site, and you can taste how fresh all of their ingredients are”. “Be prepared to wait by grabbing a drink in one of the nearby bars and they will text you when your table is ready”. There’s also a newer, more central, branch on Peter Street.
3. Yellowhammer Pizza restaurant in Stockport 15 Lower Hillgate - SK1
Truffled out by The Code, this interesting project involves Sam Buckley of Where the Light Gets In; it will be a "community bakery, pottery and deli" by day, and a wine bar / pizzeria in the evenings.
