It’s back! The Glorious Grouse Race returns to The Jugged Hare

Get your game face on! It’s time once again for The Glorious Grouse Race at the City’s  estimable home of “very good game” – The Jugged Hare. Taking place on the Glorious Twelfth (that’s Saturday 12 August for those who don’t religiously follow gaming seasons) the race aims to get the season’s grouse from field to fork in under 12 hours. Book your ticket and you’ll be one of the first diners to tuck into the new season’s birds anywhere in the country.

The Jugged Hare’s chefs will once again venture onto the Yorkshire heather moors at first light to bag the first shoot of the season. Then they race back to London to create a special five-course British game dinner.

Priced at £85 per person, the dinner starts at 7.30 pm and will be held downstairs in the Josephine Room. Guests will be able to follow their dinner’s progress throughout the day via @thejuggedhare #gloriousgrouserace. To book contact Zahra Al-Shakerchi via email: zahra@etmgroup.co.uk or call: 020 7614 0134.
