Lorna Robertson, Alison O’Reilly and Giovanna Ryan (pictured in that order) reached the last five in a field of 64 amateur cooks. The final was dominated by women – the winner was 29-year-old medic Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed, appropriately enough a gastroenterologist, or stomach specialist.
The supper club runs on three consecutive nights at from June 28, and costs £60 for a glass of fizz and canapes on arrival followed by their MasterChef highlights, including duck, smoked potato, carrot and coriander and duck liver doughnut; clam, baby squid, fregola and tomato broth; grapefruit posset and petits fours.
