British, Modern Restaurants in Horsham
1. Restaurant Tristan British, Modern restaurant in Horsham 3 Stans Way - RH12
“A great find out in an area of relative culinary wilderness” – Tristan & Candy Mason’s well-established destination occupies a converted sixteenth-century building in the town centre, complete with pitched roof and wood beams. There’s a range of fixed menus from three courses for £30 up to eight courses for £90, and the modern British dishes are “beautiful” – “creative (but not gimmicky)”. Top Tip – it has a bar where they serve breakfast and brunch.
2. Interlude British, Modern restaurant in Lower Beeding Leonardslee Gardens, Brighton Road - RH13
On the 240 acre estate of Grade I listed Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens (incorporating a vineyard), this year-old venture has yet to generate sufficient feedback for a rating. But its 14-course and 19-course menus from South African chef Jean Delport – using produce from the estate – have immediately caught the attention of the tyre men, who awarded it a Michelin star in October 2019.
