“Just down the road from Gleneagles Hotel” – and in its own mould “able to hold its own” with its more famous neighbour (where the proprietors used to work) – this “cosy” high street restaurant “ticks all the right boxes”, and is a big hit with all those who comment on it. It helps that it’s a fraction of the cost: the table d’hote menu offers a choice of six dishes for each course: two courses for £29.95 and three for £37.95.
