For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Frantoio Restaurant Diner Reviews

"The food is perfectly OK without being special. Massive portions : "never mind the quality - feel the width"! It lacks finesse. The wine list isn't cheap. On a Saturday lunchtime, the place was very quiet, but the service was distinctly casual. It wasn't as good as it was when we last went some years ago. It feels tired."

"Frantoio continues to improve, now with more comfortable chairs at several tables, and bench seating isolating several areas. Very good lobster & prawn cocktail, lovely grilled fresh sardines, good size helpings of pasta. "
