Harden's survey result
“Pitch-perfect pizza” with a “terrific charred flavour” emerges by the metre from the ovens at this expanding southwest London group. Occasionally “abysmal” service needs sorting out, however – “it can be really slow if they’re busy”.
“Great elongated pizza” (sold by the metre) make it worth remembering these crowded cafés in Chelsea and Wimbledon.
Pizza is sold by the metre at these King’s Road, Chelsea and Wimbledon venues, making “a nice change from a regular pizzeria – and the pizzas are superb”. “The small space gets very crowded so it’s often on the noisy side” – but that’s all part of the atmosphere.
“Excellent pizzas” (served by the metre), “switched on” service and “good VFM” continue to impress at this small Italian chain; as always the “buzzy King’s Road classic” is tops (but SW19 also got a thumbs up this year).
