Harden's survey result
A “very friendly” decade-old bistro that, albeit “very noisy”, wins praise for its “agreeable atmosphere” (especially in the pretty walled garden); the modern Anglo/Euro food doesn’t detract from a visit either.
With its “lovely and convenient setting with charming courtyard”, plus “very good food” and “amazing hospitality” this indie neighbourhood bistro is, by all accounts, “one of the best places in Cambridge for an enjoyable laidback meal”.
“If you don’t like chains, this is a good bistro halfway between the railway station and gown town”; “externally it looks relatively unpromising”, but inside it’s a “light and airy” room combining “a bit of character” with “reasonably priced” grub.
A “cosy” bistro, handy for the railway and city centre, that’s “just about great food without being pretentious”, and where the quality is “bang-on for the price”; the “lovely” patio area in particular is “ideal for the summer and very romantic”.
