“Cool but fun” – this atmospheric Living Ventures operation off Deansgate is “surprisingly airy” for somewhere underground, and all reporters “love the place” thanks to its “impressive fusion food” and “well-informed and helpful staff”.
“An excellent bar and cocktails” help drive the “always busy, always bubbly” vibe at this “slick”, subterranean operation (from Living Ventures), just off Deansgate, where “enjoyable”, eclectically sourced small plates provide “bursts of flavour”.
“Australian, Indonesian, European with a little Japanese thrown in sums up the culinary influences” of this “superbly designed”, “swanky” and “romantic” basement, just off Deansgate – a “very trendy and upbeat place” that mostly “lives up to the hype”, despite its “elevated prices”.
“Enjoy the vibe!”; this “cool but unpretentious” basement, just off Deansgate, has a “fabulous” interior, and most reports say the Pacific Rim fusion fare is “fantastic” too; critics do find the place “flashy” and “deafening”, though, not to mention “too expensive”.
