Indian Affair Restaurant Diner Reviews
"super friendly service. efficient. attentive. good to hear friendly chatter of team in background. great space, good music and scent of lemongrass. good lighting and decor. plates used for food compliment it well. food and drinks are excellent. subtle spicing, and good herb selection (a mint used that was green and lightly minty, giving a subtle accent to the dish when badly chosen it could have dominated, micro coriander similarly used for a small subtle hit) well cooked and beautifully presented. only one dish missed the mark, but I think that's personal preference, as everything else was polished off. it isn't cheap, but then it probably is a fair reflection of the care and attention to detail. we like it and will continue to visit."

Summary
“Super-friendly and very professional service with plenty of good advice” helps win praise for Harshit & Natasha Chopra’s Delhi-inspired restaurant, also complimented for its “delicious, brilliantly presented food with rich, well-balanced flavours”. It’s two years old, and they must be doing something right, as in September 2024 they launched an Ancoats spin-off.
For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
