“The epitome of a Soho lifestyle” is to be found at this “fun” classic, near The Box Soho, where “great people watching” helps whet the appetite for some “brilliant fruits de mer and fabulous fish”, enjoyed while nattering and perched on high bar stools. “Service is warm, friendly and, occasionally, quirky in a good way”. “Be prepared to queue but it’s worth the wait”.

Summary

“There’s just something about sitting on one of the stools” (“they even replaced the old uncomfortable ones!”), and “watching the world go by”, at this “fun-and-frisky” Soho haven (a characterful, tiled ex butcher’s shop). “Charming” and “flamboyant” staff provide “so-fresh” seafood and “excellent rôtisserie chicken”.

Summary

“It just rocks!”; this “cool little Soho haven” is “a bit cramped and insanely busy” thanks to its “fabulous” seafood (“proper fruits de mer”) and “top rotisserie chicken”; in September 2015, its once notoriously uncomfortable tall stools received a plush makeover, making them an even better perch for people-watching!
