Harden's survey result
Summary
This yearling on the Barnes approach to Hammersmith Bridge is a “lovely little neighbourhood eatery” serving “amazing and homely fresh Indian dishes”. Founder Leo Noronha, originally from Goa, presides over a “short menu of family recipes” – of the type jotted down on postcards to remind travellers of the food from home.
Summary
This July 2022 newcomer in north Barnes (just south of Hammersmith Bridge) is the work of Leo Noronha, who recently worked at Hoppers. Here, he and his family will present a short, seasonal menu focused on Portuguese-influenced Goan cuisine, with dishes marinated for 48 hours then cooked on a robata grill.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
