“Big and still with a great buzz” – these “vibey”, industrial-style haunts, owned by the Soho House group, have won an impressive following with their “inventive pizzas” (lots of them meaty), grungy-cool styling and staff who – despite a fair dose of hipster cred – maintain a welcoming attitude. Its ratings came off the boil a little this year, though, and the odd reporter feels their performance is seeming more “tired”.

“A really interesting take on the pizza genre” (with a focus on “original”, often hearty, toppings) combined with an excitingly grungy hipster vibe ensure this successful Soho House-owned group remains “extremely popular and always busy”. “Prices are reasonable too” and for such a style-conscious scene, gripes about service are notable by their absence.

“If you can tolerate the noise and the hipsters” (particularly at the “cavernous and noisy” Shoreditch original), these “slick” Soho House-owned haunts provide “decent pizza” with “interesting toppings and flavours” and “have a good vibe as well”.

“Channel your inner hipster, and cruise along” to these grungily-glam, industrial-style Soho House-owned haunts (“you have to be under 30 really to appreciate them fully”). They seemed a little more “over-stretched” this year, but for somewhere so “achingly trendy”, service is surprisingly “amiable” and while the pizza is “inauthentic”, it wins lots of praise for its “unusual toppings and fantastic, thin crispy bases”.
