Harden's says
The Barrie brothers of Anglesey's Marram Grass have now opened their next restaurant, on the Albert Dock site they secured in early 2019; Lerpwl is the Welsh name for Liverpool.
Harden's survey result
Summary
The Barrie brothers cut their teeth at Anglesey's Marram Grass (as of November 2021, not in operation) but are nowadays focused on this relatively recent venture, on the Albert Dock site they opened in the turbulent days of September 2020. Lerpwl is the Welsh name for Liverpool, and the offer aims for ‘social fine-dining’. Feedback (on which we’ve based our initial rating) is so far relatively limited, but says results from its ten-course tasting menu showcasing Welsh produce (for £90 per person) are as outstanding as at its predecessor.
For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
