Summary
“Definitely above average for a touristy part of Cambridge” – it’s set opposite the Great Gate of the namesake college – this “lovely little” establishment has worked up a loyal following since opening a few years back, and is a top tip for a “good-value early dinner”.

Summary
“Finally a reasonable place in central Cambridge”, right opposite the Great Gate of the namesake college. The interior is stylish and the menu, while “not large”, offers superior seafood and meat, plus “a good choice of wines by the glass or bottle”, helping it to become quite the foodie magnet since opening two years back.
For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Trinity Restaurant Diner Reviews

"Nice new restaurant in the heart of Cambridge. Short, interesting, menu. Including a very good saffron risotto "

"Very disappointing with ill conceived crab starter and adequately portioned but dry halibut served with unpleasant fishy bottle based sauce. Obtrusive service. Sad experience given the huge opportunity in Cambridge for a polished competitor below the august Midsummer House."
