John Watson has established this Redland venture as another reason to visit Chandos Road with his “truly wonderful five course feasts”. In August 2018, however, he put the restaurant on the market to concentrate on his young family, and its outlook is currently uncertain.
Ex-Casamia chef John Watson’s relaxed three-year-old seems to be well and truly settled on foodie mecca Chandos Road and its contemporary local fare won consistent praise this year.
Mixed feedback on this quite “new kid on the Chandos Road block” (helmed by John Watson, formerly of Casamia); fans do praise its “imaginative and locally sourced small plate combos”, but at its worst it seems like “boring little parcels of food served by amateur staff”.
