Torridon, British, Modern Restaurant Guide

2023 Review: This Victorian gothic shooting lodge-turned-boutique hotel benefits from a “stunning setting” by Loch Torridon. Its contemporary-style restaurant, 1887, offers a “very well presented menu”, but while many reports praise some “wonderful dishes” and “very good cooking”, some diners found it “disappointing” or encountered “limited availability” of dishes this year. As of October 2022, you have to stay to sample the food here as it’s currently residents-only (unless you head for tea, coffee and cake in the Beinn Bar).
