Bright, modern haunt – complete with big floor-to-ceiling windows and an outside terrace – that’s long anchored Peckham’s emergence as a food scene. Billing itself as ‘Your friendly neighbourhood wine bar’, the vino is the highpoint here, but the grub’s a cut-above and good value.

A new natural wine selection from specialist importer Les Caves de Pyrène is now available alongside the craft beers on tap. Top Tip – “make sure you leave room for the ice cream”.

“The food quality’s superb” at this thriving, “cheap ’n’ cheerful” community-run café and arts centre in southeast London’s Telegraph Hill, hosting regular supper clubs including pizza project Dinner For One Hundred.

A 50-cover "Bri-talian" pizzeria in Peckham, owned by Andrea Ascuiti, known for his much talked-about 081 Pizzeria. A classic twist on Neapolitan pizza is promised by incorporating British ingredients with the likes of mozzarella and pepperoni. The menu will also feature other traditional Italian dishes all in an American-Italian-style setting. [So that’s Bri-talian with an American-Italian spin – boy the PR company has been working overtime on this one...] Sample dishes: Crispy "London-style" pizzas, classic meatballs, Neapolitan frittattina, and a much-signposted fiocco di neve dessert (brioche filled with ricotta and whipped cream)

Craving a decent pizza down Nunhead way? Look no further than this bright little bar & pizzeria, complete with wood-fired oven. The name is from their pop-up (‘Dinner for One Hundred’) which brands their pizza in Brixton (at Hootananny), Telegraph Hill (at the Hill Station Café & Bar… “superb”) and in Bloomsbury at the Perseverance pub.

After previously operating as a series of pop?ups and supper clubs around London, this late autumn 2025 newcomer is now world famous in Nunhead for its punchy Malaysian dishes.
