Scottish Restaurants in Dunvegan
1. The Three Chimneys Scottish restaurant in Dunvegan Colbost - IV55
“Worth the scenic drive to get there and highly recommended” – this former crofter’s cottage has been a gastronomic feature of the inner Hebrides since it opened in 1985. It’s all change this year, though, as – after 34 years – Shirley & Eddie Spears have retired: selling the business to well-known hotelier Gordon Campbell Gray, who is himself returning to his native Scotland and establishing his new ‘Wee Hotel Company’. We’ve rated the restaurant on the basis that he knows what he’s doing, that the Spears remain somewhat involved, and that the “amazing” Scottish cuisine focused on fish and seafood for which the place has become internationally famous will endure.
