Harden's survey result
“A great little bistro” with “an emphasis on top-quality ingredients and thoughtful cookery”, Peter & Louise Robinson’s Cotswold venture serves “head and shoulders the best meals in town”. Despite its name and landlocked geography, it’s predominantly a seafood spot, where “kicking off with a half bottle of Chablis and a round of Porthilly oysters sets a high bar for both quality and freshness”.
Peter & Louise Robinson’s “lovely” and “slick” (but higgledy-piggledy) restaurant in the centre of Stow is well worth a butcher’s (geddit?) for its “wonderfully fresh” and “well-executed” seafood and steaks, with occasional nods to Japan or the USA.
Launched in 2015, Peter & Louise Robinson’s “fantastic little restaurant in the heart of the Cotswolds” is “as wonderful as always”, and while this cosy spot espouses the nose-to-tail ethos, confusingly it actually specialises in “immaculate” seafood.
Near the main square, and true to its name, Peter & Louise Robinson’s contemporary venue is a real bastion of nose-to-tail cooking, turning out “thoughtful” and “always delicious” plates from the “very best menus”; Louise is a “charming hostess”, too!
