Breaking news
Loxleys has reopened with normal opening hours, which means lunch and dinner Monday to Thursday and breakfast, lunch and dinner Friday to Sunday.
In line with government guidelines, they have all the necessary measures in place to ensure social distancing is adhered to and their usual high levels of hygiene and cleaning will continue. They’ll only be accepting limited numbers so would urge guests to book via their website, on OpenTable, or via email on info@loxleysrestaurant.co.uk.
Guests are asked to arrive as close to the time of their booking as possible to avoid any congestion in the bar area. They will be taken to their table where they can enjoy a drink while checking out the brand new a la carte menu.

Summary
“One of the better pre-theatre places in Stratford” – this smart, two-floor, former clothes shop is barely a three-minute walk from the RSC. Even a reporter who felt the food was “nothing special” says “everything turned out well for a pleasant evening”.

Summary
In the “epicentre of restaurants for the hungry tourist or theatregoer”, this ex-clothes shop “deserves your serious consideration”, say fans. There were also reports of “average” or “poor value” food this year, but those “habitually choosing the pre-theatre set menu before a visit to the RSC” seem to find it “well cooked and attractively presented”.
Summary
On two floors of a former city-centre clothes shop, this “very popular” five-year-old has an “ambience that varies depending on the room” and wins nothing but praise for its “lovely and reasonably priced food” from a large and versatile menu incorporating sharing plates and char-grilled steaks.
