Harden's survey result
Summary
“Local ingredients but in more unusual combinations” than you might expect make it well worth knowing about this small ‘aparthotel’ dining room, where chefs Oli Martin and Sean West aim for more culinary ambition than typically expected of this ‘rust-belt’ town.
Summary
Part of a small hotel, this September 2019 addition – a short hop from the city-centre – aims to bring a quality of dining to Preston more generally associated with more leafily located locations in the foodie Ribble Valley. Though shown as temporarily closed as we go to press in November 2021 (thus no reports for a rating this year), the restaurant’s website is carrying availability from mid-month.
For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

263 Preston Restaurant Diner Reviews

"Best quality restaurant in Preston though that’s not saying too much. Great very small dishes, everyone an amuse Bouche. And that’s the issue. Whilst ambience and service are excellent, the dishes are tiny and adding the superior wine flight sends the bill stratospheric. Summary then being not value for money but a once off experience."
