Bang, slap in the heart of the town, this almost “rustic” spot with “wooden floors and bare tables” is part of a social enterprise, with a dining room opening off a very busy coffee shop. “There’s a limited choice, but always something of interest”“simple dishes, simply served” by “sweet staff”. Not a particularly foodie hotspot, but “there’s nothing not to like here”.

With a “limited” but “flavoursome” menu of local/seasonal food, this “rustic” non-profit provides a “respite from the cacophony of Oxford”, and prices are “very reasonable” too.

“The menu is limited, but the food is good” at this Spartan non-profit, with a local/seasonal schtick; nowadays there’s the odd cynic, for whom it’s “probably coming to the end of its time in the sun”, but even they admit it’s “still pretty good”.

“If visiting Oxford, this is a place on the to-do list!” – a trendy non-profit venture whose “excellent” local/seasonal grub “has just about kept up with the hype” (and comes at prices which are “better than reasonable”). Okay, it’s “pretty Spartan, but that’s just in keeping with its style and ethos”.
