Harden's says

This new pub / restaurant-with-rooms from Adam Handling is aiming to be the most sustainable in the UK, with an eco-garden and orchard, solar panels and composting. "Sustainable British luxury" is the tagline; it will be run by his two chefs, Steven Kerr and Jonny McNeil, and is named after the two locations he met them in.

Adam Handling’s spacious new pub / restaurant-with-rooms (complete with beer garden and large outside terrace) is aiming to be amongst the most sustainable in the UK, with an eco-garden and orchard, solar panels and composting: ‘sustainable British luxury’ is the tagline. It’s “a new favourite” for a number of reporters (as it was for Guardian critic Grace Dent, in August 2021), who acclaim “high-end pub food” that’s “beautiful both in taste and presentation” with a “superb twist on each item – whether it’s pork scratchings in paper bags, or chocolate pudding with marshmallow filling… each bite is a delight!”

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Clearly successful: sitting slightly uncomfortably between high end pub food and good restaurant standards, while charging at the latter level. Impressive desserts."

"I would never dine here for all the windsor area nice food won't be too horrible but was treated as a guest horribly wated 20 mins to be served (drinks) then food was nice until hair was found it was a black beard hair in which made me want to throw up so after that won't be coming back which is upsetting as had good reviews about that restaurant. Staff is great no need for improvement but the chefs need a bullocking!"
