MasterChef finalist John Calton “cooks up a storm” at this “outstanding” pub-restaurant yearling, on the fish quay; it specialises in “same-day fresh” fish and “excellent” local meat (and at “very fair prices”) and the “monthly tasting menu nights are fantastic” too.
A new restaurant “on the site of a run down pub”, run by Masterchef finalist John Calton; “as you’d expect, fish straight from the boats is a highlight”, but the general picture is “great food at good prices, in a warm and friendly atmosphere”.
