Harden's says
Taking over the former premises of long-running veggie Greens (RIP), Chester-based brothers Joe & Ben Wright have opened the fourth branch of their popular brand to this well-known site. Expect authentic dishes that bring a real flavour of Madrid or Barcelona.
Harden's survey result
Summary
On the former site of Simon Rimmer’s late lamented Green’s (RIP) – this late 2024 newcomer is owned by brothers Ben & Joe Wright and is the fourth of their well-regarded small group of Spanish tapas restaurants (the original was in Chester). Feedback is too limited for a full rating as yet, but one early report says it’s “one of those places where it’s impossible to have a bad meal” and Manchester review site The Confidentials applauds cooking that’s “simply but honourably cooked best-of-breed Spanish”.
For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
