For a “lovely afternoon tea” and “a truly elegant experience” there’s much to recommend the light-filled foyer of this posh hotel lounge (set beneath a glass dome). “The price is eye-watering but seconds are regularly provided, so it’s actually good value for the amazing experience”. Breakfast here is also “a gorgeous start to the day”.

For an “excellent tea in beautiful, opulent surroundings”, this landmark hotel’s “peaceful” lounge (set beneath a glass dome, and complete with pianist) is a “super location” providing a “classic” experience. We have no accounts of a full meal here (but prices on the all-day menu seem a tad fierce: e.g. £21 for a club sandwich with fries).

The “sensational” setting beneath a glass dome, with a pianist tickling the ivories while you eat, complements the “exquisitely prepared and presented” afternoon tea at this grand London landmark. The staff are “very welcoming”, and make “extra effort to accommodate dietary requests”.
