“A very cool place, at its best at breakfast and late at night” – this chilled hang-out in a chichi Soho House hotel (actually in Holborn, despite the name) serves superior burgers, and other “good, down-to-earth dishes”.
“Dude food plus” (“great pancakes”; “classic burgers”) and “a very cool vibe” win a food thumbs up for this “canteen-type eatery in a trendy and expensive hotel” (from Soho House) which despite its name is actually in Holborn. “Whatever your thoughts on the clientele, which can make it feel a bit dystopian and/or like an Apple advert, the food is really rather good”.
Soho House’s all-day diner within their hipster-inspired hotel (for all its groovy name-checking, in drab Holborn) is a useful local amenity: “good for a quick lunch” or coffee.
Soho House’s “fun cross between a diner and a grill” is great for “people watching” and gets “very lively” (“noisy”) in the evenings with a DJ and large groups; the food “can become incidental”, so “better to go at lunchtime” (or for the excellent breakfasts).
