Harden's survey result
“Really great sushi with a fusion feel” makes this modern Japanese, just north of Oxford Circus, from the Chisou group “a great place to become acquainted with Japanese food”. Sky-high ratings improved further in its second year – a good indication that the “friendly staff” are not resting on their laurels.
“Sit at the counter for the full experience” at this traditional-ish Japanese yearling in Fitzrovia – a new departure for the owners of the small (and well-rated) Chisou group – consistently receiving excellent ratings for its “delicious sushi and sashimi”.
Sushi Atelier Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Small eatery in Fitzrovia serving modern sushi. With counter seating on the ground floor where you can watch the chefs at work and more cosy, traditional tables with chairs downstairs. Creative and innovative with some unexpected flavour combinations and alongside the sushi you’ll find carpaccio, steamed dumplings, salads and ceviches. All fish dishes requiring the highest quality and freshness to deliver the sought after tastes and flavours. Seared scallop and steamed asparagus with yuzu basil miso. Octopus carpaccio served with kizami wasabi and azuki bean sauce. Three kinds of tartare (salmon, tuna, white fish). Chefs selection of nigiri sushi highly recommended Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service. An impressive list of sakes and an adequate wine list, although several of the premium wines were out of stock on this occasion."
