Providing “faithful” service to an expensively dressed clientele in one of Chelsea’s prettiest streets – this “lovely local” (too posh really to qualify as a ‘gastropub’) has an excellent buzz and consistently well-rated food. As always, though, there’s the odd grumble here about its price level.
“A pretty place with pretty customers” is a verdict few would contest on this “smart yet casual” Chelsea haunt – “a fun spot enjoyed by young and old” with a “great ambience and buzz”. The food is “sound – with high prices reflecting the location” on gorgeous Walton Street.
Where the ‘Made in Chelsea’ crowd go when they become older singles! – this chichi stalwart in a gorgeous enclave near Knightsbridge is a cosy rendezvous with very dependable cooking.
On a “film-set” Chelsea street, this “upmarket pub” with “book-lined windows and heavy drapes” offers a “super atmosphere and warm welcome”. A “great menu of British fare” with a “slightly hip twist” completes the deal.
