Harden's survey result
“This atmospheric old corner pub in Battersea” is a “buzzy, friendly, traditional spot” serving “a Med-inspired menu that never disappoints”. “Cosy and warm in winter, with stunning Christmas decorations, it also has a fabulous rose-clad garden in summer”.
This “buzzy” Battersea sibling to Earl’s Court’s Altas “assumes no airs and graces, but punches out its ever-changing Mediterranean-led menu at top standard, with, awesome real ales in great condition”.
“If only all pubs were like this Battersea gastroboozer” (sibling to Earl’s Court’s Atlas) – “cracking med-inspired food from an open kitchen”, “great beer festivals and brewery-led events alongside good wines”, and with “a lovely garden”.
A Battersea gastroboozer “belonging to the team that operate the Atlas… and it shows!”; indeed, such is the quality of its “sympathetic interpretations of Mediterranean classics” that “it’s getting harder and harder just to drop in and grab a table”.
The Fox & Hounds Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Thank goodness for the Fox. A venue/pub of integrity compared to the rest of the nonsense on Battersea Rise. It's a pub, yet the very best version of it. A charm offensive puts you at ease and before you know it you've handed over your trust...perfectly conditioned beer, awesome wine list all served at the right temperature! and an Italian heavy kitchen - nothing actually heavy about it - that sings from the plate. Add in the secret garden abundant with climbing roses...is there anywhere else?"
