Still relatively undiscovered by reporters, London’s branch of this trendy Copenhagen pizza-stop occupies a moodily and slightly weirdly decorated arch at Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village, complete with tables hewn from big lumps of tree, spaceship lights and candles. On the few reports we received, it’s worth a whirl, especially for one of its buffet brunch deals.
This dark and moodily decorated yearling – London’s branch of Copenhagen’s ‘Italian pizza without all the nonsense’ concept – occupies a railway arch at Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village. Opinion is divided on the all-important question of the pizza: “average” vying with “good value and tasty”.
From Copenhagen’s meatpacking district – the first UK venture of this hugely popular pizza concept in Denmark, is one of the first outlets to have opened in Battersea Power Station’s Circus West Village in July 2017, occupying a moodily, low-lit railway arch near Chelsea Bridge. The website promises ‘Italian pizza without all the nonsense’… but still notes its ‘signature sourdough’, ‘seawater’ and ‘manufacturing its own mozzarella’.
