“Basic Italian cooking done to a satisfactory standard” along with a “family-friendly atmosphere” have established this “busy” and incredibly “consistent” café as a Clapham institution; it has a Chelsea spin-off too at the King’s Road ‘Jam’ – an age-old place with fun double-decker booths.
“Perfect for a quick plate of pasta” or pizza – this “still reliable (and cheap)” Clapham café is “as lively as ever” after all these years. Less feedback on its “cosy” Chelsea spin-off with fun double-decker seating, but what we have says it is likewise “dependable and very noisy!”
“I’ve been going for 26 years: same staff, same menu, same ambience – what’s not to like?”; the “happy but loud” Battersea original of this Italian duo is perpetually “crammed with yelling locals of all ages” drawn by its “cheap, simple and tasty” pizza and pasta; (no-one much mentions SW3, with its funny double-decker seating).
