This “lovely little basement local”, hidden behind an “easy-to-miss entrance” near Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, serves “excellent Italian fare at acceptable prices” in a usually expensive part of town. There’s also “a fantastic assortment of wine”, and the real clincher is that it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to buy it. Top tip: “a delicious burrata to start, followed by fantastic pasta is a real winner”.

“A small, very welcoming Southern Italian” near the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, which has become an “absolute local favourite” thanks to its “very appealing and romantic” interior; a very good menu of antipasti plates, home made pasta and daily specials; plus “a selection of good and inexpensive wines from Puglia chosen by the two charming owners”.

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
