In the shiny new developments south of Tower Bridge, this stylish, but “down-to-earth” three-year-old (sibling to an original in Brighton) has a “wide menu” – from “delicious seafood” to mouthwatering steak – but it’s perhaps the “very meaty” dishes that score the highest approval ratings (charcoal grilled British beef cuts are a mainstay of the menu, and the Moroccan goat dish, when it’s on, is terrific).
In the shiny new developments south of Tower Bridge, this stylish, but “down-to-earth” two-year-old (sibling to an original in Brighton) has a “wide menu” – from “delicious seafood” to mouthwatering steak – but it’s perhaps the “very meaty” dishes that score the highest approval ratings (charcoal grilled British beef cuts are a mainstay of the menu, and the Moroccan goat dish, when it’s on, is terrific). Top Menu Tips – numerous dishes are recommended: “the smoked goat is an absolute revelation”, there’s “exceptionally good steak”, “fabulous grilled octopus” and “really pleasing sweets”.
Overlooking the recently completed public piazza at the centre of the new One Tower Bridge development, Brighton’s favourite steak joint is heading up to the Smoke in autumn 2017.
